Privacy policy

Short version: this site uses no tracking cookies and no advertising pixels. I only store what you send me through a form, and only to reply to you.

1. Controller

Egemen Can Gök. Contact details are in the imprint. Email: egemencangok@gmail.com.

2. Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. When you visit, Netlify processes technical data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Netlify is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and transfers are additionally covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.

3. Contact and enquiry forms

When you use a form, the data you enter (e.g. name, email, company, message, and the page you came from) is transmitted to Netlify Forms and forwarded to me by email. I use it only to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare an offer (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Enquiry data is deleted when it's no longer needed, at the latest 24 months after our last contact, unless statutory retention periods apply.

4. Guide downloads and newsletter

If you request a guide or subscribe to updates, I use your name and email to send it and occasional emails on related topics, based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in each email or by writing to me, and your data will then be deleted.

5. Cookies, fonts and analytics

This site sets no cookies and uses no third-party tracking. Fonts are hosted on this server, so no data goes to Google or other font providers. If privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics are added later, this section will be updated before they go live.

6. External links

Links to LinkedIn, Instagram or WhatsApp only transfer data to those services when you click them. Their privacy policies then apply.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict processing of your data, to data portability, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority of your place of residence.
